Log a Fix / Create a Guide

Add a fault and solution you already know, or have an engineer author a full step-by-step guide.

Two ways knowledge gets into the system

Not every fix has to come from a live troubleshooting session. Backfill something you already solved, or have an engineer author a complete procedure ahead of time -- both flow through the same verified-fix trust model as everything else.

What it looks like

Two different jobs, side by side: backfilling a fix you already know, versus an engineer writing out a complete procedure before anyone hits the fault.

SymptomCoolant pump trips on startup
1Utilities
Check incoming line voltage to the pump's disconnect.
A voltage sag under load trips the overload relay before the motor ever draws real fault current.
2Controls
Verify the overload relay's trip setting matches the pump's nameplate FLA.
A relay set too low trips on normal startup inrush, mimicking a real motor fault.
3Mechanical
Hand-rotate the pump shaft to check for binding.
Last resort -- a seized bearing draws locked-rotor current, which the relay reads as a fault.
